JAID Transports ("JAID," "we," "us") provides non-emergency medical transportation. This policy explains what information we collect through jaidtransports.com and our services, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Ride requests: rider name, phone, email, pickup and destination addresses, dates and times, number of passengers, mobility needs and any notes you give us.
- Facility clients: rider rosters, pickup addresses, ride days and pickup instructions entered in the Secure Client Portal, plus the names and work emails of authorized staff.
- Messages: what you send through our contact form, email or phone.
- Technical data: basic information your browser sends, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site secure and working.
How we use it
- To schedule, route, provide and bill for rides.
- To contact you about your ride or request.
- To meet legal, safety, insurance and regulatory requirements, including those of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission.
- To protect our systems and prevent fraud.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Health information
When we transport riders for healthcare providers or facilities, the information we handle may be protected health information under HIPAA. We handle it as a business associate under written agreements with those organizations, use it only to provide transportation, and protect it with administrative, physical and technical safeguards, including encryption, access controls and activity logs.
Who we share it with
- Our drivers and dispatch staff, only as needed to provide your ride.
- The facility or organization that arranged your ride.
- Service providers that host our systems or send our messages, under contracts that require them to protect it.
- Authorities when required by law.
Security and retention
We keep information only as long as needed to provide services and meet legal and record-keeping requirements, then delete or de-identify it. No system is perfectly secure, but we use industry-standard protections and limit access to authorized staff.

Children
Our website is not directed to children. Rides for minors are arranged by a parent, guardian or facility.
Changes
